I am on the waiting list for the UM anesthesia course. There are only 20 slots for the UM course. If that program is full, then the next UM anesthesia course will not be until October! Are any other MD hygiene education programs administering the course? Is there a chance that the UM program will offer another course sooner than October or increase the number of participants in the July course? Thank you.

Dental Hygiene Program
The first local anesthesia course will be July 13, 14, 15 at the Dental School. If you are interested please call the Office of Continuing Education at 410-706-2282. The next course is tentatively planned for mid October. The course will be 28 hours and fulfill the requirements for MD rules/regulations for dental hygienists administering local anesthesia. This will also prepare dental hygienists to take the required NERB prometric (computerized) exam for board certification.
